Painting from Europe. This beautiful old painting needed a special frame; something to enhance it. The customer and I discussed that a big wide ornate frame would only take away frame the simple beauty of the old world look. But yet a modern frame didn't fit the overall look. This simple, slim tasteful dark gold frame allowed the oil to world keep its charming appearance and not over shadow it.
