Hi Everyone!

As of this weekend, it is officially autumn! The bigger question is, where did the summer go?

My garden suffered terribly after all the rain in July. After replanting my first crop of rotting seeds and then doing hand to hand combat with the weeds, which never seemed to suffer, I covered the whole depressing patch in plastic and pretend it wasn't there. The only thing that was successful was my climbing nasturtiums, which are overflowing railings and walkways in a rich orange burst of colour!

I wanted to let you know that this upcoming weekend is "CULTURE DAYS".

Culture Days are "a collaborative pan-Canadian volunteer movement to raise the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities."-- http://www.culturedays.ca





This year is the the second annual Culture Days event and my first year to be involved. I am very proud to be a part of it. I even got a tiny mention in this weeks CASKET.



My Culture Days: September 31, October 1 &2.

Friday, September 31: 10:00-4:00
Open House Day
I will also be offering 10% of all custom framing. Some restrictions apply.

Saturday, October 1 & Sunday, October 2
I will be open special Culture Days hours, 1:00- 4:00 both days.

Vicki will be in attendance both days for a meet and greet,as she works on her one of her upcoming oil paintings.

I will be explaining and demonstrating how a picture is framed and both of us will be available to answer questions about our etching display.


Snacks and refreshments will be available.

Today is such a beautiful day, that I'm heading out to the barn to spend some time with my boys. They are starting to shed out and with that and the bug bites, they practically whinny with delight everytime I head to the barn.
