HI EVERYONE!
I hope everybody had a wonderfulweekend but it was too rainy to do anything outside.
Easter weekend was so beautiful, I spent some time kayaking in Cape Breton with my sister.
While was air was warm, my hand turned blue when I dipped it in the water.
(My cousin's lobster's traps).
My sister is the expert kayaker, which is why her arms didn't ache and mine were ready to drop off after 2 hours paddling. This was a whole different muscle group than tossing hay and shoveling manure! I was very happy to get back to shore and play with the dogs.
I just wanted announce that due to the popularity of the "FLOWER SHOW", I am extending the display until the end of May. June's display will combine the "Animal Display" and "Fish and Bird Display" into one exhibit.
I have a new framed watercolour up on display called, "Sunflowers in a Mason Jar".
I also have two new poppy watercolours but they aren't framed yet.
Please just ask to see them and I will bring them out for you to have a look at.
and one that was just framed.
A few customers have decided to bring in photographs, artworks, finished needleworks they meant to get framed last year but didn't get a chance. Or it might be a Prince William & Kate Middleton commemorative souvenirs or perhaps your Charles and Camilla 'drying up cloth' is just sitting in a drawer awaiting a 'royal' blue mat and frame.

There is something new happening at the gallery and I will have updates in the next couple of weeks. But for right now, on the occasional warm day, I have been doing some small renos and sprucing up the place with some paint and flowers.
