So Much Art & Prizes...
Read MoreHELLO EVERYONE!
It is finally summer weather!!! I was very excited to get some sun and a little rain for my small garden. I planted it early, but it seemed like it wasn't growing. I waited and watched. Then watched and waited. Nothing grew except three potato plants. Hmmm??? After some investigating (and digging) I realized that most of my garden was probably in the tummies of my resident crows. So I replanted and then erected some plastic streamers as deterrents. I hesitated to add them because they aren't a very attractive addition to the front yard but then neither is having a garden full of weeds and no veggies!THE THIRD ANNUAL ART CEILIDH STUDIO TOUR

There is nothing wrong with tradtional framing, but sometimes breaking out of the mold can be add something special to your favourite artwork.
(By the way, if anyone is interested in viewing this oil in person, it is on display at "At the Sign the Whale Art Gallery", Yarmouth, NS. The exhibition is called, "A VIEW FROM HERE".)
