Most weddings take so much planning that when it arrives, it is a whirlwind of nervous excitement. Most couples try to savour every detail but often forget the little details of the day. That is why you hire a photographer. A great photographer is there to capture the moments you missed and the memories you never want to forget. And when the guests are gone, the food has been eaten, the first dance danced and your perfect wedding dress put in storage, your photos are the best memories of your day.Photo by: Hilde van de Heuvel- Antigonish, NS

Now all is left is your photographic memories and are often the only visual memory you have of that special day. These are memories that you want to last a lifetime.Photo by: A Matter of Tastes Photography
The new trend is to have a guestbook mat, one where you can see all your best wishes, instead of book put away and nevr seen again. The first step to getting a great guestbook mat is to visit me, so we can pick out the frame, colours and size. I can custom design a couples' guestbook mat to any size, large or small. The first step is to cut the mat openings and add either an engagement or informal photos for display purposes at the wedding reception. After the mat is signed by the guests, the married couple returns the mat to me, where I replace the informal photos with their wedding photos. It is then assembled, framed and ready to hang on the wall to remind you of all the friends and family that gave you best wishes for your future.
Frame your invitation alone or in a collage with other wedding day items. Collage displays are a great way to display multiple wedding pictures in a single frame. ie: professional formal wedding portraits, candid pictures of you laughing with your new spouse or a silly picture from a guest with disposable camera. Collages can also be used to display your written vows, special poems or meaningful notes. Or use your collage mat as a guest book. Don't forget the option of a shadow box to house all those memories that are three dimensional. Too often, wedding items become damaged in old shoe boxes and are never seen let alone appreciated.
